AbdelRahman, an experienced investor with a 14-year track record of identifying and nurturing investments, has built a diverse career across continents and industries. He began his journey in stock trading and wealth management, honing his financial acumen, before co-founding a Montreal-based consulting firm where he led deals across North and South America. He then led the investment team in a private equity firm based out of Cairo, Egypt before making the shift to venture capital with Egypt Ventures.

Over the past five years at Egypt Ventures, AbdelRahman has spearheaded 23 investments across 17 innovative tech and tech-enabled startups, placing Egypt Ventures on the local VC map. He has played an active role in supporting and shaping the strategy and growth of these startups, contributing to two successful investment exits to date. Abdelrahman is also an active board member in several portfolio companies including accelerators Falak Startups and EFG-EV Fintech.

AbdelRahman holds a BSc in Finance and an MBA from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University, and is a CFA Charterholder.
